Q. Are the Wedding Coordinators experienced?
Our coordinators have great experience in every aspect of arranging marriages in Cyprus. In fact
they have been specially chosen for their skill and experience. Your very Special Day
requires a very Special Person to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that your
wedding is a truly memorable one!

Q. What is so special about getting married in Cyprus?
What more appropriate setting for any marriage than the birthplace of Aphrodite the goddess of
love!! That, however is not the only advantage you gain from having your big day on the Island
of Love.
Weddings in the UK are incredibly expensive. The average cost of a wedding in Britain now stands
at over Stg₤15000 and that would not be a particularly large or elaborate affair. You will make
big savings by marrying here. The scope of your wedding will be limited only by your budget and
your imagination! Value for money is guaranteed.
Your Wedding Package includes a honeymoon in one of the most varied and beautiful Island
locations in the world and a 90% chance that your big day will be one of blue skies and
sunshine. All this and much more awaits only your decision to go ahead and allow us the
privilege of organizing your wedding for you.

Q. Is a Cyprus Wedding legal?
Marriage under Cyprus Law is every bit as legal as in the UK and accepted as such throughout the
world!

Q. Can I have a Church Wedding?
Church, Registry Office, Aboard Ship, Hotel Chapel and many other venues are available to you.
If you have been divorced a church wedding is at the discretion of the clergyman concerned but
you should not assume that your divorce necessarily precludes you from having a church wedding.

Q. How far in advance must we book?
It makes sense to give us as much notice as possible in order to comply with your every wish
with regard to your wedding arrangements. We can accept bookings as much as one year in advance
but can make all necessary arrangements with as little as 8 weeks notice of your intent to
marry. Our Wedding Coordinators are well used to making the necessary arrangements speedily and
without fuss but some advance notice is essential if we are to arrange a marriage at your
selected venue.

Q. How long must we stay in Cyprus?
In most resorts a 7 Night stay is sufficient but we would advise that a 14 night stay would be
preferable in order to allow you to enjoy the full benefits of getting married in Cyprus without
feeling even slightly rushed. The choice is yours.

Q. Who will marry us?
Depending on the type of ceremony you choose, your wedding will be performed by a clergyman,
mayor, registrar or licensed marriage officer. Rest assured that your marriage would be in full
compliance with Cyprus law and have the same legal standing as if it were taking place in the
UK. The ceremony will be conducted in English. You will receive a wedding certificate just as
you would if you were married in the UK.

Q. Do we have free choice of day and time of our wedding?
Weddings for visitors to Cyprus are normally performed Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm
although most municipalities have one day a week where weddings are booked up to 5pm. There may
be slight variations to the norm in the resort of your choice but we will inform you of such
variations when you have chosen where you wish to marry.

Q. Do we need witnesses?
The law requires two witnesses for all types of wedding. If only the two of you are coming your
Cyprus Wedding Coordinator will be delighted to act as a witness and will help you find a second
one that you need.

Q. Can you make arrangements for all our friends and relatives?
Nothing would give us greater pleasure than to be of assistance in this respect. Block booking
can reduce the overall cost of travel and accommodation but we are able to offer travel from all
the major airports in the UK and a range of accommodation in resort to suit all pockets. Our
years of experience in the travel industry will be brought to your assistance in order to comply
with your wishes and those of your guests.

Q. Is a lot of paperwork required?
Wherever you marry paperwork is part of the requirement. This is nothing for you to worry about!
Your personal Wedding Coordinator will let you know what to bring with you at time of booking
and will be by your side in Cyprus to smooth your path through all the necessary procedures. It
is his/her task to ensure that you do not need to worry about anything. Let us take the strain
so that you can fully savour every single moment of your big day!!

Q. Can you arrange every detail of the wedding for us?
Yes we can!! It is our aim to make your wedding the most special you could desire. We can
arrange the transport, the photographs, the video/DVD, the flowers, the cake, the reception, the
Bride’s hairdo, beauty treatment and manicure!! We can even assist in the arrangement of the
‘Hen and Stag Parties. What can be arranged is limited only by your specific requirements!
On the other hand our assistance can be restricted to flights, accommodation and
booking of the wedding ceremony if that is all you want from us. Your wedding clothes are
probably better obtained in the UK as the choice is more restricted here in Cyprus. Most couples
bring their outfits with them so the Airlines are quite used to looking after them in transit.
It would be wise, however, to consult the airline on which you are booked for their specific
requirements.
Your Wedding Coordinator will provide all the necessary services and check arrangements
continually in order to be sure that nothing is allowed to mar the "Big Day". He/She will greet
you on your arrival and from that moment, until you become Mr and Mrs and arrive at your
reception, will be at your service smoothing the way so that no detail is missed. Don’t forget
it is his/her task to deal with problems. You need not worry just sit back and enjoy the
experience to the full!!

Q. What if we change our mind about the wedding?
If you change your mind about details of your wedding the plan can be adjusted to suit your new
requirements but do remember that this may change the costings which you were given at time of
booking. If you decide not to marry at that time and place you may be liable for cancellation
fees and loss of any non-refundable deposits.

Q. What is our wedding going to cost us?
A lot less than it would for identical arrangements in the UK! Exactly how much is entirely
dependant on your choices but will be detailed to you before you make your booking in order that
you can adjust, if necessary, the details so that the total costs fit within your budget. Your
personal Wedding Coordinator will offer every assistance in achieving what you wish for within
your budget and making any necessary adjustment.

Q. How to I get fuller details and/or make a booking?
Full details of all aspects of getting married in Cyprus will be sent to you when requested
through the contact details below. Once you have made up your minds on the detail of your
wedding day you should send us a list of your requirements. Your Wedding Coordinator will then
prepare a quotation for you based on this list and send it to you along with a Wedding Booking
Form. His/her task is now to ensure that your wishes are met and that your wedding day is
memorable for all the right reasons. This task, and the coordinator's devotion to it, will not
end until you are married and safely transported to your reception. Indeed it will continue
until you eventually leave Cyprus at the end of your honeymoon.
